The Kings County Library in California is seeking a part-time Library Assistant I/II - Bilingual (English/Spanish) to work between the Stratford and Lemoore branches. The role supports library operations, assists patrons, checks materials in and out, shelves materials, and maintains records.

This position requires strong customer service and bilingual communication skills. Hours are 25 per week with variable shifts including evenings.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
• One year of general office or retail experience with customer service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work between Stratford and Lemoore branches.

Responsabilités

• Conduct circulation activities and assist patrons with materials.
• Assist staff with reference duties and programs for children.
• Perform outreach and community education related to library services.
• Maintain records and operate library automation system for loans.
