Matos Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Legal Assistant to support our personal injury litigation team in the Denver/Lakewood area, focusing on Spanish-speaking clients. You will coordinate with providers, collect records, and assist attorneys to build strong case files.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple open records requests
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word documents, Excel, and other Microsoft products

Responsibilities

• Communicate with providers and internal team members, as well as occasional client contact (either over the phone or in-person)
• Request, track, and follow up on medical records, bills, and itemized statements
• Assist attorneys and paralegals in gathering and organizing evidence needed to support clients’ cases
• Help ensure all case files are current, complete, and ready for the next stage of litigation or settlement
