Job summary

Matos Personal Injury Lawyers in Denver, CO seeks a bilingual personal injury paralegal to help clients navigate the legal process after life-altering events. You will collaborate with attorneys, manage 60–100+ active files, and translate for Spanish-speaking clients while handling pre-litigation tasks and document prep.

The role requires 2+ years of plaintiff PI paralegal experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written (required).
  • 2+ years of experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm as a paralegal, case manager, or pre-litigation case manager.
  • Hands-on experience with auto accident cases, including requesting and reviewing medical records and bills, tracking treatment, and communicating with providers.
  • Familiarity with the pre-litigation process: liability investigation, insurance claims, PIP/MedPay, lien resolution, etc.
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 60–100+ active files and prioritizing under deadlines.
  • Experience with a legal case management system (Neos, Filevine, Litify, or similar).
  • Strong written communication — able to draft clear client correspondence and provider requests in both languages.

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide valuable insights to the legal team.
  • Translate and interpret legal documents and communications for Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved.

Compensation:

$41,600 - $62,400 yearly

Benefits
  • Flexible schedule (after 3 months): choose a 5-day week with 2 non-consecutive remote days, or a 4/10 week with 1 remote day. First 3 months are M–F, 8–5 in the office
  • Health, dental & vision: we cover 75% of your premium and 50% for spouse/dependents (begins at 3 months)
  • PTO: 8 hours accrued per month, usable as earned
  • Vacation: 1 week paid after your first year
