Job summary
Liberty Tire Recycling in West Haven, CT is seeking an experienced bilingual transportation professional to oversee daily dispatch and operations, support drivers, and resolve routing issues. This full-time role schedules Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with some flexibility, and offers the chance to contribute to safe, efficient tire recycling logistics.
Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and English, have transportation/dispatch experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations; Samsara
Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, dispatching, routing, and logistics.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Able to adapt routes and schedules with delays or call-outs.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily routes, dispatching and driver assignments.
- Communicate with drivers to resolve service and routing issues.
- Adjust routes when delays or call-outs occur.
- Monitor driver performance and service levels.
- Provide coaching to drivers and ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with reporting and documentation.
- Develop toward increased responsibility for the transportation operation.
