Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in West Haven, CT is seeking an experienced bilingual transportation professional to oversee daily dispatch and transportation operations. You will support and direct drivers, solve routing issues and help keep the operation safe and efficient.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility. The role requires fluent Spanish and English communication and experience in dispatch, routing and logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, dispatching, routing and logistics.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of local and regional geography.
• Strong organization and problem solving skills.
• Experience with DOT regulations a plus.
• Ability to coach and supervise drivers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routes, dispatching and driver assignments.
• Communicate with drivers and resolve service issues.
• Adjust routes and schedules when delays or call-outs occur.
• Monitor driver performance, attendance and service levels.
• Provide coaching and direction to drivers.
• Help maintain compliance with safety policies and DOT requirements.
• Assist with reporting, documentation and follow-up.
• Develop toward increased responsibility for the transportation operation.
