Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and internal controls. Bilingual Korean and English required to communicate with local management and HQ Finance.

The role oversees general ledger, AP/AR, revenue, and closing processes, partnering with CFO and HQ for weekly/monthly management reviews. Seniority will depend on candidate qualifications and scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Professional proficiency in Korean and English is required.
• Valid driver's license for business purposes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax requirements, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company's accounting procedures and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, revenue, fixed assets, cost accounting and related functions.
• Review and audit accounting work for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Oversee accounting records, financial statements, reconciliations and reports.
• Supervise month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes and deadlines.
• Review financial information for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Handle sensitive accounting matters with discretion.
• Assist with weekly and monthly financial reports and management meetings.
• Coordinate with HQ/Finance for compliance and reporting needs.
