Job summary

Milford Public Schools seeks a Dual Language Kindergarten Classroom Teaching Assistant for Memorial Elementary School in Milford, MA. The role requires Spanish-dominant instruction and collaboration with the Kindergarten team for the 2026-27 school year.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual with Spanish proficiency, experience with ELs and early childhood learners, and willing to complete required training within the first year. This is a full-time, on-site position for the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

• Bilingual; fluent in Spanish is required within the first year of employment.
• Proof of Spanish proficiency via approved pathway is required within the first year of employment.
• Completion of the 2-hour online Language Ambassador Training Course is required upon hire.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• All classroom duties to be performed in Spanish.
• Lead small groups and follow plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Work collaboratively with the Kindergarten teacher and other professionals.
• Participate in professional learning opportunities as directed by administration and the classroom teacher.
• Assist with bathrooming skills of Kindergarten students.
• Align classroom practices with Dual Language Education research and student needs.
