You will collaborate with staff, communicate with families, and implement district curriculum while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university is required.
• Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject and grade level is required.
• ESL certification is required for K-5 RLA or self-contained/sped/general ed classrooms.
• ESL certification is preferred for Math, Science, Social Studies teaching assignments.
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Student teaching or approved internship is required.
• Physically able to monitor student discipline and progress and to meet student needs.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations and differentiation for student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Collaborate with staff to plan instructional goals and best practices.
• Design learning experiences incorporating digital tools to promote student creativity.
• Assist in selecting books, equipment, and materials for instruction.
• Plan and use assessments and materials that reflect individual student needs.
• Monitor student achievement and use results to plan instructional delivery.
