A leading Japanese real estate investment firm who manages a diverse portfolio of high-value commercial and residential properties is seeking experienced real estate professionals with Japanese language skills to join their U.S. team.
Position Summary:
There are several bilingual key professional positions are available – Property Manager, Asset Manager, and Investment Manager – to support the firm’s growing portfolio in the U.S. These roles require a solid understanding of U.S. real estate practices, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to liaise with stakeholders in both English and Japanese.
Key Responsibilities (Depending on Role):
Property Manager
Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of commercial or residential properties
Manage tenant relations, service contracts, and property-level budgeting
Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with vendors and contractors
Asset Manager
Monitor asset performance, implement value-add strategies, and report to headquarters
Develop and manage annual business plans and financial projections
Coordinate leasing activities, capital improvements, and hold/sell decisions
Investment Manager
Source and underwrite new investment opportunities in the U.S. market
Conduct due diligence, prepare investment memos, and support transaction execution
Collaborate with internal teams in Japan and external advisors in the U.S.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, asset management, or property operations
Strong understanding of U.S. real estate markets, laws, and financial modeling
Business-level Japanese and English proficiency is required
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPM) a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-cultural communication abilities
