Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Assistant to join our client in the Arlington Heights, IL area. The role focuses on accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll documents, and audits.

Entry-level candidates are welcome and the position is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement and excellent benefits including 401k. Requirements include an associate’s degree, some accounting experience, and ability to speak, read, and write Japanese.

Qualifikationen

• Must have an associate’s degree.
• Must have some accounting experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.

Aufgaben

• Process accounts payables and accounts receivables.
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
• Create and update expense reports.
• Process reimbursement forms.
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records.
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
• Review and file payroll documents.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
