• Experience managing a janitorial team within a large facility.
• Ability to anticipate needs, multitask, and shift goals quickly.
• Proficiency with facility management software and general software.
• Extensive knowledge of janitorial processes and procedures.
• Experience supervising 15+ employees in a team.
• Budget management experience and strong customer service.
• Decision-making ability and effective communication with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the janitorial department during the shift.
• Plan, organize, and direct team members to satisfy students, faculty, and stakeholders.
• Monitor staff performance against standards.
• Coordinate supplies and inventory with managers.
• Inspect lecture halls, event spaces, and campus facilities.
• Maintain the janitorial department budget.
• Uphold highest cleanliness, safety, and conduct standards.
• Apply OSHA and safety standards within the department.
• Set and maintain the department work schedule.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment.
• Ensure work follows UG2 SOPs and work instructions.
