Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean Team in St. Cloud, MN seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to lead commercial janitorial operations across Saint Cloud, Willmar, and surrounding areas. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Position offers evenings with travel, a $25.00/hour pay rate, and opportunities to train staff, manage sites, and help control budgets in a busy client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial janitorial industry.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must successfully pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple commercial cleaning accounts throughout the assigned territory.
• Conduct daily and nightly site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train, coach, mentor, and support cleaning staff.
• Schedule employees and ensure all accounts are properly staffed.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning chemicals, paper products, and equipment.
• Help manage material costs and supply budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete inspections, reports, and other administrative tasks.
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Area Manager.
