Job Overview

At Polly, we're changing the way people shop for car insurance through technology. If you're a driven personal lines insurance sales agent with a digital orientation and a focus on growth, you'll likely be interested in this remote position. Our licensed insurance agents sell using Polly's innovative technology, earning $55k-$60k/year after initial paid training.

As a Sales Center Agent at Polly, you will analyze, advise, and sell personal lines insurance policies by handling inbound leads, navigating multiple carrier systems, providing expert advice, closing sales, and ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Schedule and Training

• The Polly Sales Center operates from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (EST) Monday to Friday, and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturdays.
• New agents work 11:00 am - 8:00 pm ET, four days a week, plus every Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm ET.
• Training involves full-time work during scheduled hours, with a mix of live sessions and independent study over four weeks, including alternating schedules.

Compensation

Starting salary ranges from $32k-$38k annually plus bonuses, with top agents earning $50k-$60k in total compensation.

Requirements

• Valid Property and Casualty insurance license
• At least 1 year of auto and home insurance sales experience in a call center
• Experience with high-volume call centers and multiple carriers
• Strong IT and systems skills
• Persuasive, persistent, and confident in closing sales
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow up on warm leads
• Experience with AMS360, PL Rater, or similar tools is preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is required
• Home internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds
