Job summary

Aspire Public Schools in California is seeking an Instructional Aide to support multilingual learners and students with diverse needs. Under the guidance of assistant principals and general education teachers, you will provide high-quality, personalized instructional support to individuals and groups, including English language development and IEP-aligned activities.

The role requires collaboration with the IEP team, strong confidentiality, and a commitment to Aspire’s equity and belonging

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child cognitive development and different learning styles.
• Familiarity with students that demonstrate extensive needs.
• Ability and willingness to implement students’ individualized education programs.
• Ability and willingness to reflect and improve on practice.
• Belief in inclusion and Aspire’s Equity Belief Statements.

Responsibilities

• Provide services, supports and interventions directly to students under supervision.
• Support English language learners across classes with content.
• Assist with IEP implementation and data tracking.
• Collaborate with IEP team and families regarding progress and needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Aspire policies and procedures.
