Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to deliver world-class service for roofing, building, and remodeling projects.

You will identify customer needs, recommend products, manage orders, and coordinate pickups with the warehouse, while maintaining accurate payment and delivery records. Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of roofing/siding/windows experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in roofing, siding, and windows preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Upsell additional products and supplies based on customer needs.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply to the correct customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival with all items accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as needed.

Specific Duties May Include

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific Qualifications Include

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
• Bilingual - Spanish speaking is preferred
