Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Incident Management Engineer (Korean/English bilingual) to join the Incident Detection and Response team. The role focuses on incident response, account ownership, and leadership of critical communications during major incidents for EC2 workloads and other AWS services.

You will work within a follow-the-sun model (core hours 8am–4pm PST) and may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience in network and operating system support.
• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Knowledge of distributed computing environments.
• Fluent in Korean (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Drive the resolution of large-scale customer-impacting incidents as part of a team rotation.
• Lead critical, complex customer escalations with Engineering Teams.
• Provide incident response/management for customers’ critical workloads.
• Contribute to Problem Records for customers.
• Monitor customer metrics in real time and manage emerging issues.
