Job summary

Gulf Coast JFCS in Tampa, FL seeks a Padres de Crianza Community Navigator to provide in-home support to Hispanic/Latino caregivers in Hillsborough County. The role links families to services, offers stress and parenting education, and crisis intervention when needed.

You will conduct screenings, complete Family Support Plans, and coordinate referrals while collaborating with the Program Manager to ensure caregiver needs are met and outcomes achieved.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working with children and families (preferred).
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking required.
• Knowledge of child development and community resources highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home support and linkage to services for families.
• Complete intake, NCFAS-G+R, and Family Support Plan with caregiver.
• Monitor and evaluate Family Support Plan progress.
• Provide information, referrals, and follow-up for community services.
• Model positive family-centered practices and mentoring.
• Maintain contact with caregivers and service providers for collaboration.
• Coordinate with Program Manager and Counselor on caregiver needs.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
• Provide on-call services as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
