Job summary

Thoronka Law Offices is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) immigration paralegal for in-person, full-time work in Maryland. You will handle EOIR and USCIS cases, draft motions and documents, and maintain organized client files while coordinating with attorneys to prepare for hearings and filings.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience, strong knowledge of forms and deadlines, and excellent communication skills to interact with clients and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years as an immigration paralegal handling EOIR/USCIS matters.
• Strong knowledge of immigration forms, deadlines, and procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting documents.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications and supporting documents with EOIR and USCIS.
• Draft motions, affidavits, declarations, and legal correspondence.
• Maintain and organize client case files with accuracy and deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and compile documentation for cases.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
