Job summary

The Yohana Saucedo Law Office in Texas seeks a Spanish-speaking Immigration Paralegal to support removal defense and humanitarian relief cases. Remote work allowed, with in-person options in Austin or Laredo, 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Requirements include 2+ years in removal defense, Spanish fluency, and paralegal education or ABA-certified paralegal. The role offers health insurance, PTO, and holidays; start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency required or professional proficiency.
• 2+ years of removal defense experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in paralegal studies or ABA-approved paralegal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage removal defense cases and hearings preparation under attorney supervision.
• Prepare for master calendar, individual hearings and bond hearings.
• Draft motions and legal documents, file I-589s, EOIR-42As/42Bs; manage court deadlines.
• Experience with ICE detention cases is essential.
