Job summary

AFM Agency in New York seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager fluent in Mandarin and English to oversee HR operations for our Midtown Manhattan office. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and building practical HR processes for a fast-growing business.

Responsibilities include advising management on policies, handling employee relations, leading full-cycle recruiting, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English required.
• 3+ years HR experience, including hands-on NY HR.
• Experience as HRBP/HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NY employment laws and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and employees on HR policies, performance, and workplace matters.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Support compliance with federal, NY State, and NYC employment requirements.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records, HR policies, and internal documentation.
• Improve HR workflows and support a positive, professional workplace culture.
