Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our manufacturing facility in Humble, Texas. This bilingual role combines hands-on HR execution with strategic alignment to company objectives.

You will partner with site leaders to design roles, manage staffing and performance processes, champion safety, oversee compensation programs, and drive engagement initiatives to support growth across our brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business management.
• 5+ years in HR leadership, including staffing, employee relations, benefits/compensation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach site management to foster a values-driven culture.
• Support HR team with complex or sensitive issues.
• Oversee performance reviews and goal setting across leaders.
• Develop talent strategy, staffing plans, and recruit hourly and select salaried roles.
• Communicate compensation and benefit programs and manage open enrollment.
• Design job descriptions and ensure clear roles across functions.
• Partner on talent needs, succession planning, retention, and labor models.
• Support unemployment, workers' comp, hiring, onboarding, terminations, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Safety/Operations to advance safety culture and return-to-work.
• Identify training needs and manage budget or external resources.
