Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist in Hopkins, MN to support recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration on a 100% onsite basis. The role partners with a small HR team to enhance workforce engagement and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.

The successful candidate will manage full-cycle recruitment for production/warehouse, administer benefits, and coordinate onboarding to create a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/production.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience with recruiting and employee relations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build credibility with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

Job description

This position will have a strong focus on recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and workforce engagement for hourly production employees. As part of a small HR team, the HR Generalist will also support benefits administration, compliance, training coordination, performance management, employee communications, and general HR operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for production and warehouse positions.

• Coordinate employee separations, exit interviews, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.

• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Coordinate training programs, employee communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on retention strategies, workforce planning, and organizational development efforts.
• Support payroll processes, reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions as needed.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with recruiting and employee relations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Location: Hopkins, MN | 100% onsite
• Type: Direct Hire
• Pay Range: $70,000-$100,000 annually
