Job summary

Transportation Partners & Logistics seeks an HR Generalist to support core HR functions across the employee lifecycle. You will provide guidance to managers on workplace issues, conduct employee relations investigations, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and help implement HR programs that strengthen the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive HR experience plus a Bachelor’s degree.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR partner to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance concerns and policy interpretation.
• Conduct onsite employee relations investigations, gather facts, and recommend actions in line with policy and law.
• Coach managers on performance management and documentation to ensure fairness and consistency.
• Partner with HR leadership on complex or high-risk employee relations matters and implement actions.
• Identify trends in employee relations issues and propose proactive solutions, training, or policy improvements.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews and proper documentation.
• Assist with development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory updates and support policy changes as needed.
• Support onboarding, role changes, and offboarding processes across the employee lifecycle.
