Job summary

Dervati is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support 2nd and 3rd shift in a hands-on manufacturing setting in Wisconsin. You’ll lead safety training in English and Spanish, oversee timekeeping and payroll, onboard new hires, and coach supervisors to develop teams on the floor.

Ideal candidates have HR or business degrees, AS/SHRM credentials, and ADP Workforce Now experience. A forklift trainer certification is a plus or will be pursued within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• 2+ years in an HR generalist/coordinator role, preferably in manufacturing, food, or warehousing.
• Experience delivering safety training and maintaining solid records.
• Comfort with timekeeping, payroll, and basics of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, I-9, and OSHA.
• Calm, fair judgment under tough conversations.
• Able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts (3:00–11:00pm or 4:00pm–12:00am).
• Certified forklift trainer (or willing to become one within 90 days).
• OSHA 10/30, SHRM-CP, or PHR.
• ADP Workforce Now experience.
• Background in SQF, BRC, or GMP food environment.
• Degree in HR or business, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep everyone safe by leading safety training in English and Spanish.
• Run forklift and powered industrial truck certification from classroom to hands-on evaluation.
• Onboard new hires and agency temps with a welcoming orientation.
• Coach, develop, and cross-train teams using the League development framework.
• Reconcile 2nd/3rd shift timecards and resolve payroll questions.
• Handle employee concerns with fairness, confidentiality, and respect.

What You Bring

Must-haves

• 2+ years in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role, ideally in manufacturing, food, or warehousing
