Job summary

Dervati is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist to support 2nd and 3rd shift in Iron Ridge, WI. You will lead safety training in English and Spanish, certify forklift operators, onboard new hires, coach supervisors, and ensure accurate payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken
• 2+ years in HR generalist/coordinator role, manufacturing/food/warehousing preferred
• Experience delivering safety training and keeping records
• Familiar with timekeeping, payroll exceptions, and basics of FLSA/FMLA/ADA/I-9/OSHA
• Calm, fair judgment in tough conversations
• Available for 2nd/3rd shift (3:00-11:00pm or 4:00pm-midnight)
• Certified forklift trainer or willing to become one within 90 days
• OSHA 10/30, SHRM-CP, or PHR
• ADP Workforce Now experience
• Background in SQF/BRC/GMP food environment
• Degree in HR or business or equivalent experience

We're looking for a bilingual (English / Spanish) HR Generalist who loves being on the floor more than behind a desk. You'll keep people safe, welcome new teammates, make sure everyone is paid right, and be the trusted voice people turn to when something isn't working.

What You’ll Do

• Keep everyone safe. Lead safety training in English and Spanish so every teammate goes home the way they came in.
• Put operators in the driver's seat. Run forklift and powered industrial truck certification, from classroom to hands-on evaluation.
• Make day one great. Onboard new hires and agency temps with a welcome that sets them up to succeed and stick around.
• Grow people. Help supervisors and leads coach, develop, and cross-train their teams using our League development framework.
• Get every paycheck right. Reconcile 2nd and 3rd shift timecards and solve pay questions before they become frustrations.
• Be the trusted voice. Handle employee concerns with fairness, confidentiality, and respect, and help leaders apply standards consistently.

What You Bring

Must-haves

• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written
• 2+ years in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role, ideally in manufacturing, food, or warehousing
• Experience delivering safety training and keeping solid records
• Comfort with timekeeping, payroll exceptions, and the basics of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, I-9, and OSHA
• Calm, fair judgment when conversations get tough
• Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift hours (schedule of 3:00 - 11:00pm or 4:00pm - Midnight)
