Job summary

Ironwood Power Services in the Northeast region seeks an HR Coordinator to support onboarding, recruiting, offboarding, and HRIS entry. The role reports to the Human Resources Director and involves handling employee requests, background checks, LMS maintenance, invoicing data, and interview scheduling.

Requirements include 1+ year of HR or DOT compliance experience and preferred bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years HR or DOT compliance experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with labor unions desirable.
• Experience in utility vegetation management or civil works preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers employee requests and questions to provide customer service.
• Verifies employment verification requests and safety record requests.
• Assists with background checks and motor vehicle record checks; files results in HRIS.
• Assists with processing terminations.
• Maintains the LMS, including translations, releases, tracking and trainings.
• Researches and codes monthly background check and drug screening invoices.
• Schedules meetings and interviews with the HR team.
• Performs clerical tasks: photocopying, mailing, scanning and emailing documents, and other duties.
