Job summary

Excel Distribution Llc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR processes across locations. This role administers employee health, welfare, and workers' compensation plans and serves as the liaison with insurance providers, ensuring compliance with laws and plan provisions.

• Understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Responsibilities

• Administers health plans including enrollments, changes and terminations with payroll and insurers.
• Manages occupational injury plans and OSHA reporting; follows through to back-to-work.
• Provides customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
• Completes Form I-9, verifies documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Assists with recruitment by identifying candidates and issuing offers.
• Audits payroll, benefits or HR programs and recommends corrective action.
• Assists with COBRA processing for eligible employees.
• Performs clerical tasks: photocopies, mails, scans and emails documents.
• Prepares new-employee files and handles related correspondence.
• Processes incoming mail related to employee injuries/accidents.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
