Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking an Accountant under the direction of the Accounting Director to support daily financial operations. You will reconcile cash accounts, post journal entries, analyze financial data, and respond to inquiries with accuracy.

Required: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance; strong Excel skills; bilingual English/Spanish; 1 year hospital accounting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Post journal entries to designated accounts for reconciliations and adjustments.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.
