Purpose

Job summary

FeldCare Connects in the Miami area seeks a self-motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality home health care as an Independent Contractor. You will assess patient needs, create treatment plans, and support adults of all ages to improve daily functioning and safety.

Responsibilities include following state guidelines, guiding patients and families, documenting progress, and coordinating with the care team to optimize outcomes. The role offers flexibility and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and registered by the state.
• Completion of an accredited OT program.
• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide services defined by state laws in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with the health care team.
• Lead the patient in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the condition.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in therapy areas.
