Job summary

Abcor Home Health, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in Rockford, IL. You will assist clients with daily living activities, transport to appointments, and perform light housekeeping while following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year caregiving experience.
• Willing to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Two references.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable car or public transportation.
• Completes pre-service training (24 hours).
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal prep.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social outings.
• Provide personalized services per the care plan.
• Report changes in condition to the branch supervisor.
