Job summary

Abcor Home Health is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in Chicago, IL. You will assist clients with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and timely communication with the branch supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal background check clearance expected.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Two references required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Pre-service training of 24 hours completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Mobility assistance and meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping and errands; transport to medical appointments.
• Document visits and daily tasks via home care app.
• Report changes to branch supervisor promptly.
• Attend in-service training (12 hours) and quarterly meetings.
