Job summary

Blackstone Valley Comm seeks an Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator to assist individuals and families with HealthSource RI information and enrollment in RI. The role involves explaining options, guiding the ACA enrollment process, and supporting patient engagement activities within the department.

The candidate should have an Associate’s degree and 3+ years in health services, with bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or Portuguese/Creole) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience with health and human services infrastructure, health insurance programs and public coverage options.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations in medical or similar settings preferred.
• Combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one information about HealthSource RI and QHPs to families and individuals.
• Assist with the application/enrollment process through HealthSource RI.
• Support patient engagement activities within the department.
