Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Health Care Assistant Float for 40 hours per week to support patients across Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, and Waukesha health centers.

You will learn clinical care delivery and medical administrative tasks through paid training. Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer service and support PPWI values.
• Support PPWI mission and foster diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Able to relate to diverse communities and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to follow instructions.
• Experience with EHR, EPM, Office 365 and MS Office preferred.
• CPR certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, answer phones, schedule and verify insurance.
• Document patient history in EHR and obtain signatures on forms.
• Assist clinical staff during exams and procedures and provide patient support.
• Prepare exam rooms, manage supplies and ensure clean equipment.
• Perform and document point-of-care tests and vital signs under supervision.
• Maintain awareness of PPWI services and community resources.
• Handle front desk duties and travel to other PPWI health centers if needed.
