Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car.
• Tier 2 or Tier 3 interpreter in the education setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, organized.
• Willing to work 10 evening events per fiscal year.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Aspen database and internet use.

Responsibilities

• Translate school documents and communications (written and oral).
• Aide in translation for parent outreach and IEP communications.
• Maintain translation data base and support Registration/Parent Outreach Center.
• Attend extra evening events as needed; support after-hours duties.
• Other duties as may be assigned by administrators.
