Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract

Pay Range: $150/hr for telemedicine

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual Haitian Creole Speaking Physician to provide chronic disease management programs via telemedicine to a private client in the Princeton, New Jersey area. The Physician will participate in a structured multi-week treatment and coaching program for Chronic Metabolic Diseases (e.g., Pre-diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Obesity) designed to improve wellness and lifestyle.

We handle all patient appointments and administrative work, allowing you to focus solely on clinical patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to practice preventive and personalized medicine in a supportive, structured setting.

Responsibilities

1. Provide chronic disease management to patients according to our program guidelines.
2. Educate patients about healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
3. Prescribe medications for chronic disease management.
4. Advise and refer patients for follow-up care as needed.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Active, clean license to practice in New Jersey; a compact or multiple state license is strongly preferred.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-graduate work experience.
• Background in family practice, internal medicine, or preventive care is preferred.
• Experience in urgent care will be considered.
• Focus on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Proficiency with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Personal laptop or tablet is required.
