Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Plano is looking for a Utilities Clerk to support Produce and assist customers on the sales floor. The role involves bagging groceries, carrying items for customers, and helping keep the store clean and safe throughout the shift.

You will handle cart retrieval, price checks, and contribute to back-end upkeep and floor service. A proactive, friendly approach and basic PC skills are ideal for this fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed yet straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper maintenance of the store, especially in Produce.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; retrieve carts; perform price checks.
• Assist with go-backs and checkout area upkeep; manage waste from parking area.
