Job summary

We Are CASA Inc. in Baltimore, MD seeks a Community Organizer to identify and foster grassroots leadership, recruit members, and organize local committees. You will mobilize members for state and national campaigns, facilitate meetings, and support voter education and outreach efforts.

This union-friendly role requires a valid driver’s license and bilingual English/Spanish. Compensation is $48,000–$50,000 per year, with generous PTO, 16 paid holidays, employer‑paid health, dental and vision, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to social justice.
• Valid driver's license and reliable car.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• One-on-One grassroots outreach in the field.
• Develop local leaders for campaigns and provide leadership development.
• Organize and maintain local committees with regular meetings.
• Ensure active involvement of members in state and national campaigns.
• Facilitate organizational meetings, events, and training participation.
• Represent We Are CASA before media, legislators, and coalitions.
• Track time and communications for proper assignment to c3/c4 and lobbying.
• Support organizational development and meet deadlines.
