Job summary

We Are CASA in Baltimore seeks a Community Organizer to identify and foster grassroots leadership, recruit members, and run local meetings. You will mobilize members for campaigns and ensure active involvement in state and national efforts, representing the organization when needed.

Strong emphasis on leadership development and community engagement. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish and a valid driver’s license, with responsibilities including outreach, reporting, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Shows commitment to social justice.
• Has a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable driving passengers in a van or personal vehicle.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• One-on-One grassroots outreach in the field.
• Identify and develop local leaders for campaigns.
• Organize and maintain local committees and regular meetings.
• Ensure active involvement of members in state and national campaigns.
• Represent We Are CASA before media, legislators, and coalitions.
• Maintain timely reports and data entry for campaigns.
