Job summary

The Trenton Board of Education is seeking an Elementary/Middle/High School Teacher for Monument Intermediate School. This full-time, 10-month position offers a salary range of $71,525 to $117,475 annually with medical, prescription, dental, and NJ State Pension benefits.

Applicants must hold a valid NJ teaching certificate (or be eligible) and have a bachelor's degree. Reports to the Building Principal and engages with students, families, and staff to support district goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility.
• All certificated positions require a valid certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). Applicants must upload proof of certification at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
• Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
• Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
