The Trenton Board of Education is seeking an Elementary/Bilingual Elementary Teacher for Washington Elementary School. This full-time, 10-month position requires delivering engaging instruction and managing a classroom aligned with curriculum standards.

Salary ranges from $71,525 to $117,475 annually with benefits including medical, prescription, dental, and enrollment in the NJ State Pension Program. The role reports to the Building Principal and requires NJ certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
• Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
• Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
