Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Senior Audit Associate in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on leading audit engagements for U.S.- inbound international clients, with bilingual German/English requirements and collaboration with cross-border teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of public accounting experience, a degree in accounting, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German. CPA preferred; manufacturing and distribution exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent German/English communication required.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Degree in accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit engagements for clients.
• Develop and execute audit programs, define objectives and assess risks.
• Perform technical accounting research on diverse topics.
• Deliver timely, high-quality audit deliverables to clients.
• Communicate proactively to manage timelines and expectations.
• Prepare clear workpapers and documentation.
• Mentor staff and support professional development.
• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Collaborate with partners on proposals and business development.
• Provide ongoing coaching to junior team members.
