Pay-O-Matic, Ridgewood, NY, is hiring a Front-Line Customer Service Representative for an 8:00 AM–9:00 PM floater shift. The role involves handling cashing checks, money transfers, bill payments, and a range of prepaid products while delivering friendly service.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Weekend/holiday work and floating to nearby stores are possible.

Responsibilities

• Effectively identifies and responds to customers’ needs.
• Processes customer transactions including cashing checks, money transfers, bill payment and selling prepaid products.
• Opens new preferred customer accounts and issues cards like the inPower debit card.
• Ensures completion of customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintains customer accounts by updating photos, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
• Maintains knowledge of Payomatic’s products and services.
• Responds to inquiries regarding accounts or products in a professional manner.
• Promotes Payomatic’s services by offering information on valuable services.
• Follows cash handling procedures and safety policies.
• Performs routine store cleaning and maintains a professional environment.
