Job summary

National Research Centers is a Miami, FL clinical research site seeking a Front Desk / Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patients and to support the clinical research team with front desk operations and clinical tasks. Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, or clinical research setting preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable handling confidential patient information and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, and answer calls.
• Assist patients with sign-in/out and completion of the Informed Consent Form (ICF).
• Assist coordinators and investigators with patient flow, visit preparation, and study-related activities.
• Prescreen candidates and screen EMR to identify eligibility for trial participation.
• Maintain and update recruitment databases; support recruitment efforts and follow-up calls.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling and confidentiality of patient records.
• Coordinate upcoming visits and communicate with CRCs regarding appointments and changes.
• Manage office supplies and handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
• Assist with general administrative and site-support tasks as needed.
