Job summary

Berks Counseling Center, Inc. in Leesport, PA seeks a Forensic Counselor to join a team-based program serving inmates with screenings, assessments, and outpatient services. You will collaborate with jail staff to ensure continuity of care and maintain compliance with clinical standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related social service field and bilingual English/Spanish; 40-hour workweek within agency hours. Master’s degree and CAC are preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related social service field.
• Be bilingual: English/Spanish required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation (8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Fri with Saturday hours, when applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provided screening and assessment of inmates.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as appropriate to inmates.
• Effectively complete all required clinical documentation related to outpatient treatment standards in an efficient and up-to-date manner.
• Work collaboratively with BCC and BCJS staff, including the care coordinator of the Jail Project.
