Job summary

Berks Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking a Forensic Counselor to join our team in a jail-based setting, providing screenings, assessments, and outpatient services to inmates.

You will conduct individual, group, and family counseling as appropriate, while ensuring timely clinical documentation and collaboration with jail project staff. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related social service field and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours (8am–8pm Mon–Thu, 8am–4pm Fri with Saturday hours as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings and assessments for inmates.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as appropriate.
• Complete clinical documentation for outpatient treatment standards.
• Collaborate with BCC and BCJS staff, including care coordinator for Jail Project.
