Job summary

InterAtlas Logistics seeks a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the complete maintenance of our fleet and manage drayage-related costs. You will lead parts inventory, reporting, and strategy development to drive operational efficiencies.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness while supporting staff and ensuring reliable transportation across operations in Newark, NJ. Bilingual Spanish/English required, with a strong focus on data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Fleet Management or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree (any field) is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of trucks, chassis, forklifts, and other transportation modes for safety and reliability.
• Ensure all vehicles are registered and licensed per state and federal regs.
• Identify efficiencies to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Develop strategies to improve fuel efficiency across the fleet.
• Maintain detailed servicing, inspection, and repair records.
• Comply with U.S. DOT laws and regulations.
• Schedule regular maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Analyze fleet performance data for improvements.
• Support staff with fleet operations and budgeting.
