Job summary

Aranda Industries in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Fleet and Maintenance Manager to plan, organize, and oversee all fleet, machinery, and equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will have fleet operations experience and strong leadership and budgetary skills.

You will conduct inspections to ensure repairs meet deadlines, manage safety compliance per OSHA, and analyze transportation data to improve fuel efficiency and vehicle availability.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required
• HS diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2–5 years in fleet operations, civil construction mechanics, or automotive and heavy equipment maintenance
• 2–3 years in a manager or Supervisor role
• Certifications such as ASE, CPFM, or CAFM are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong safety knowledge with OSHA standards
• Ability to develop and monitor fleet budgets
• Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics and when major repairs are needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze transportation data and identify trends affecting fuel efficiency and productivity
