Job summary

Northbridge University is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid to guide the team in administering federal and state-based aid. The role focuses on strategy, compliance, and accurate packaging of aid for new and continuing students on the Tampa campus.

Responsibilities include supervising the Financial Services staff, auditing files, forecasting cash inflows, and ensuring timely verification and packaging of aid while adhering to federal, state, and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Prior work experience in Financial Aid.
• Prior experience working in proprietary college.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the Financial Services team and assigning responsibilities.
• Ensure proper awarding of Federal funds and completion of verification.
• Audits and certifies all files for each start date, including verification of all documents uploaded.
• Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Develops and recommends policies for financial aid that support the goals and policies of the institution and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor, evaluate, and recommend financial aid to qualified student applicants.
• Meet with students to analyze student eligibility for financial aid; review and approve student loans; input FAFSAs daily.
