Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines is seeking an Investment Advisor for the Engagement Center. You will provide top-tier financial guidance and a personalized client experience to drive happiness, referrals, and asset retention.

Role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a passion for helping clients achieve financial goals, and a Series 65/66 license or the willingness to obtain one. Base salary range is disclosed and benefits include compensation and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, Financial Planning or related field preferred).
• Fluent in Spanish and able to converse with clients using Spanish financial acumen.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a strong desire to help people.
• Goal driven, with a passion for talking to clients over the phone to uncover needs and advise on goals.
• Aptitude and/or experience with computer-based tools for account management.
• Possession of Series 65 or Series 66 securities license, or willingness to complete training to earn Series 65 within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business to achieve/exceed performance targets for engagement center metrics: opportunity generation, client enrollment, client retention, and customer survey scores.
• Take inbound and bilingual calls to review financial goals; provide consultative mentorship to empower action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Edelman Financial Engines' financial planning philosophy, products, and services.
• Engage with clients over the phone and conduct goal-based conversations in English and Spanish; resolve client issues.
• Manage time, client inflows and processes while adhering to a set schedule within the engagement center.
