Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Bilingual Field Interviewers for the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) in California (Anaheim/Fullerton area).

The role involves in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adult household members, bilingual English/Spanish communication, and travel to training and field locations. Part-time, with two data collection periods yearly and potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Willingness to travel for training and fieldwork, including overnight travel.
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week when work is available, often evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with selected households.
• Contact households via phone or in person to schedule and complete interviews.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
• Complete required training and post-training activities, including web-based sessions.
